Thursday, February 21, 2019 - 12:00pm to 1:15pm
CTL/OLI Seminar Room, 134 Van Pelt Library
On Thursday, Feb. 21, Michael Gamer of English and Allyson Mackey of Psychology will lead a Faculty-to-Faculty Lunch discussion, Helping Students Understand How to Learn in Your Course. Sponsored by the Center for Teaching and Learning, this conversation will focus on ways to prepare students to learn in our classes – considering both what messages to send about ways to approach learning in our fields and at college, and how to send those messages so students can absorb them. All faculty are invited to participate. The discussion will take place 12-1:15. Because Faculty-to-Faculty Lunches are designed as informal conversations, registration is limited. To sign up, contact CTL at firstname.lastname@example.org. Lunch will be provided to all those who register in advance.
