This workshop aims to address the issues faced by students and instructors with disabilities in the classroom and provides a forum where students and instructors may share pedagogical strategies that will help create an inclusive space for all. Topics of discussion include: universal design, early awareness of students’ needs, the role of the Student Disabilities Services, library accessibility resources, among others.

The panel features Professor Lance Wahlert of Medical Ethics and Health Policy; Dr. Susan Shapiro, Director of Student Disability Services; Dr. Alice McGrath, Postdoc for Accessibility at Van Pelt; and Clare Mullaney, Ph.D. Candidate in English. Professor Paul Saint-Amour of English is our faculty respondent.
