Research Associate and former faculty member at Bryn Mawr College and Yale, as well as Penn, offers courses which incorporate her specialties in 18th-century British literature (Johnson and Boswell especially), biography, and autobiography. A member of the Editorial Committee of the Yale Editions of the Private Papers of James Boswell since 1979, she is also the editor, in association with the late Frederick A. Pottle, of two volumes of journal in that series: Boswell: The Applause of the Jury (1981) and Boswell: The English Experiement (1986). A volume of essays on Boswell and the Life of Johnson which she has edited (and to which she has contributed) will be publised by the University Press of Kentucky in Spring 1995 in commemoration of the bicententary of Boswell's death. Dr. Lustig has held a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Warnock Postdoctoral fellowship from Yale and has had grants from the ACLS and the American Philosophical Society, among others. She has twice conducted NEH Summer Seminars for School Teachers, at Penn, on the subject of Boswell's journal and the Life of Johnson.
