"Asian Americans and Film": This course will examine the presence, influence, and representation of Asians and Asian Americans in western popular cinema. Some topics include interracial romance, cultural and generational conflict, and the marketing of kung-fu and Bollywood in the US. Please note that film screenings are mandatory.
