Craig Saper profile

TR 1:30-3

This course introduces students to narrative films of the Classical Hollywood style. It also examines the methods film makers use to create atmosphere and tell stories. The course examines the two most influential and significant styles and genres in Hollywood movies, screwball comedy and film noir. Because the course depends on hundreds of film clips to explain how film makers construct their movies, much of the course content depends on in-class attendance.
