English.  Study and writing of non-fiction prose, especially the essay.
The course may focus on some particular kind of non-fiction such as
autobiography, a historical or rhetorical study of the essay, or writing
about issues in the sciences, social sciences, or the arts.  Frequent  
writing assignments.  Reading lists vary with each section.
