This seminar is required for all 2nd-year students, who will be TAing and running discussion sections for one of the large 100-level courses. Each TA group will meet with its respective faculty member weekly for readings. These will be light, usually 1-3 articles either on the course readings or on some aspect of pedagogy per week. The majority of the seminar will be devoted to planning the Friday recitation sections, discussing the course texts, and confronting pedagogical issues as they arise during the semester.
