Craft of Poetry

An advanced workshop in writing poetry. Class members will be asked to submit work for frank, and I hope, helpful criticism. Poems will be discussed in terms of voice, subject matter, tone, language, both individually and, by mid-semester, as part of each writer's collection of poems.
This course is open to advanced undergraduates with permission of the instructor. It is an ideal way to conclude a creative writing concentration for seniors.
